Today, science and technology is developed at full speed. The computer is a sign of the modern science and technology, and it has been widely used in every walk of life. The technology of CAD(computer assistant design) has been spread in many fields as modern tool in project design. The water supply pipe networks is very complicated, the graphics property of pipe network can been analyzed by means of basic principle of graphics theory. Most pipe networks are level figures, AutoCAD has very strong functions in drawing and treatment on the level figure, so it is very convenient to deal problem of pipe network based on AutoCAD.Visual LISP in AutoCAD has very strong ability to deal CAD graphics. It can been achieved that node and pipe are automatically number by Visual LISP in AutoCAD, and many kinds of relational matrix which will been used in network calculation can been automatically made. Node demand is been calculated by specific flow method, initial flow allocation is achieved by minimum square summation method, adjustment of pipe network make use of solve node equation method, optimal design make use of Legrange method, and the data achieved by calculated is labeled in the graphics, finally the data is saved and can been found by means of extended data and graphics dictionary, all of that are based on gaining graphics information. That achieves simple management of pipe network information.This paper make full use of Visual LISP in AutoCAD to calculate pipe network and deal with graphics, that brings convenience to deal with pipe network.
