The Research And Development On Distributed Flow-Measuring System

With the advancement of science and technology and the improvement of Industrial automation , it is needed to inspect remotely and to control concentrate some parameters of industrial process. Hence it has importance sense to do research on distributed intelligent inspecting system.The distributed flow-measuring system aims on the measurement of water using in agriculture and the monitor of waste water discharge in industry. By use of the Single-Chip Microcomputer(SCM) as signal collecting unit, the system manipulates the electric which correspond to the measured flow signal and displays the flow data in time, with RS-232 interface the data communication between SCM system and PC is established. The data can be saved into the database. By the powerful inquiring database function of Visual Basic, data also can be manipulated in the database with the Structural Query Language (SQL), the parameter data of the total flow in month and the charge in month are able to be inquired at any time.In the foundation of research on the development situation and trend of intelligent inspection instrument, the author of this paper has established the architecture of distributed multi-measuring system communication, fulfilled the hardware and software design on the communication between the upper and lower computer.
