With the fast development of city building, heat-supply system has become one of the important problems of modernization construction in china. Because the heat-supply technology of our country could not keep up with the advanced international level, which has lead to a lot waste of energy resource, we must put the emphases on this area of energy resource in the intelligent building and industrial and civil building.According to the difference of the using characters of building, the heat-supply system is divided into two categories: the continuous heating system and the intermittent heating system. For the intermittent heating system, it is essential to estimate accurately the preheat time. Overestimation of preheat will cause unnecessary energy wastage because the room temperature has got to the desired temperature ahead of the occupancy, while underestimation will lead to a loss of comfort condition because the room temperature would not got to the desired temperature at the beginning of occupancy.The question of preheat time has arose our attention in the intelligent building and industrial and civil building with the global crisis of energy sources, the control scheme of self-tuning emerged as the times require for retrenching energy sources.In this thesis, the control scheme of self-tuning was introduced to the question of start-shut of heating plant, and the law of change process of the inner part of building affected by resource and environment was detectd. The mathematical model of the process of intermittent heating was established on the basis of similitude principle and a hybrid simulation experiment was conducted systemically. The hybrid simulation experiment showed that the control scheme of self-tuning can save energy sources compared to traditional control schemes.The invention of single chip microcomputer extended the application area of computer technology, which made computer have a change from complex and large numbers ofnumerical value computation to the field of intelligent control. Single chip microcomputer could be made up all kinds of the data collection system, the real time industrial control system, intellective apparatus and the microcontroller in the embedded system.The self-tuning optimum start-shut regulator based on the single chip microcomputer is studied in this thesis. Firstly the prediction model of optimal preheat heating time of building was built, based on which the method of STR control scheme is set up. Secondly the hybrid simulation is performed, and results of three kinds of simulation based on the different models are compared. The control program of feasible method was writed by assembly language. Thirdly the STR program is performed in the single chip microcomputer 8051. The experiment of real time control proved this kind of control strategy was feasible, which was the basis of developing useable product in practice.
