| Increasingly serious problems of environment owing to much energy consumption by buildings emerging, the research of green architecture design to conforming characteristics of local region, working with nature, has been paid attention by human increasingly. Along with the deep going of the research of green architecture, green residential building is generally accepted as the orientation of the future development Ecological, healthy and comfortable and low consumption are the "green" elements of green dwellings. Currently, Hebei Province is in the stage of rapid development of industrializing and urbanizing. The fact that seriously resources & energy restraining and ecological environment deteriorating have much influenced its economic and social development It is very necessary and truly practical to develop green urban dwellings. However, research adapting to this region is almost blank. Although architects have realized the importance of greening the dwelling environment, they don't know how to start with, and how to combine with concrete project The thesis is a study of urban residential buildings in middle and south of Hebei Province obliged to sustainability of architecture design in the region in order to improve the green level for mass popularly urban dwellings. Based on the investigation and practice of building design, through analysis of present state of design in the region, it finds out that efforts have been focused on energy efficiency. But the experience of energy efficiency in design is just to limit the thermal performance of exterior envelope, moreover, the majority of architects has paid little to integrating green design process. Close attention to the exterior environment of the district, on the basis of codes & standards relative, according to the architectural physical principles, from the view of green, the conventional design model includingplanning, sole object design, and structure design, is modified and conformed, to provide a more natural, not man-made, comfortable environment satisfying the basic requirements for indoor air quality, acoustics, optics and thermal environment through design strategies and building techniques to the best. During the design process, the factor of green is considered with other traditional ones as a whole, using local materials on affordable technology restricting to economic level, making the best of the nature, and adapting to the nature. Thus, the building is not only healthy, but is also a filter or an adjuster to the exterior environment, consequently reducing consumption of routinely energy, weakening environmental pollution, then improving the green level of urban residential buildings from the point of architecture design. And the idea of holism and integrated design is emphasized. At last, taking different types of residential building as example case study, design strategies and building techniques are analyzed comprehensively, exploring how to combine green building measures with architecture design to concrete project, aiming to green dwelling spaces suiting the nature of middle and south of Hebei Province. Although it can improve the green level of building greatly, it is not difficult and expensive. On the basis of discussion above, the research has taken a big step from theory analysis to concrete practice. |
