With the development of high-rise building, while high-rise buildings are developing towards the structures with higher height, more and more structures with new structure forms, such as structures with complex facades or structures with staggered floor, door-like structures, multi-tower connected structures and etc, begin to appear. The steel-staggered-floor framed tube structure studied in this thesis is a representative type. How to assess the seismic properties and to design rationally this structure must be solved imperatively.Firstly this paper relies on practical engineering, and a typical modal was raised on it. Modal analysis, modal shape response analysis, elastic and elastic-plastic dynamic time history analysis are carried out on the 3D spatial model. By systematic analysis and research, the reliability and rationality of structural design are verified.Secondly, according to this special steel-staggered-floor structure, several structures of such kind are analyzed. By considering the changes of staggered floor thickness and height, the change of damping, the changes of seismic wave are discussed on the dynamic properties. In the end, the thesis presents some design proposals for the engineering application of the steel-staggered-floor framed tube structure, as well as recommendations for further studies.
