By the analysis and study of the propeller rotor, adopt Glauert pneumatic method to design and produce a rotor of three blades propeller. The aerofoil of blade adopt NACA63-412, the blade tip is half a circle, chords are decrease from 190mm at 110mm of the rotor center to 107mm at the rotor tip and setting angles accordingly decrease from 19°to 0°. By experimental validation of generator output characteristic, the start-up wind speed of the rotor is 3.5m/s. When the natural speed is 7.4m/s, the maximum rotor power coefficient is 0.40 and the output power is 313.9W; when the natural speed is 9.8m/s, the output power rose up to the generator rating power of 600W. By the contrast experiment study of the same diameter six blades of The Concentrated Wind Energy Turbine, the experiment result is that the rotor power efficiency of propeller rotor is 1.82 times of six blades of The Concentrated Wind Energy Turbine as 4m/s~13m/s,increasing the rotor power efficiency and the output power of The Concentrated Wind Energy Turbine. At the same time, through the theory analysis and account, as the natural wind speed is the range of 4m/s~8m/s, the output power of propeller rotor is 3.12 times of output power of propeller rotor general wind turbine, and these founded the theory and technology base for the development of the middle-mode and big-mode turbine.
