Research On Scheduling Of MES Oriented To Multi-varieties And Small-batch Production

In the environment of economy development, technology advancement, and incessant diversification of peoples' requirement, the mode of Multi-varieties and Small-batch Production has become the main production mode in manufacturing step by step. It is high demand for Job-shop production management which affects the benefit of the whole enterprise directly in this production mode. Nowadays, in manufacturing enterprises of our country, it is so many existing problems in Job-shop production management so that it can not be managed efficiently. An advanced idea and an effective system is demanded imminently to manage the Job-shop production.Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is a real-time information system oriented to job-shop execution layer. Its key is to emphasize the optimization for the whole production process, keep the communicating ability between planning layer and control layer, make the information flowing can be circulated efficiently, and make the job-shop's dynamic instance can be mastered momentarily by enterprise's supervisors. It is unusual significance for upgrading the productivity. Thereinto, production scheduling plays an important role in Manufacturing Execution System, because it affects many aspects in production such as schedule of parts, efficiency of machines, WIP inventory, flowing of material etc. The production efficiency is decided by the rationality of the job-shop scheduling, which has a great significance for constructing MES and optimizing the job-shop production flow.In this paper, the framework of MES is researched in the industry background of mechanical manufacturing which is characteristic of Multi-varieties and Small-batch Production, and the production scheduling problem is emphasized to study.First of all, in this paper, the production flow of job-shop which belongs to the manufacturing type of Multi-varieties and Small-batch Production is analyzed deep, and the system of MES that included framework, data communicating and function is offered, some points are expatiated on which about the importance of scheduling in MES, the construction principia and the mechanism of this scheduling system.Secondly, the model of scheduling of MES is built.In this research field, it is a none-standard Job-Shop Scheduling Problem basically.
