| Like the world automotive industry development, there are two serious problems against the continual development of Chinese automotive industry. One is the deficiency of energy, and the other is environmental pollution. Hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) takes advantages of the electric vehicle (EV) and the conventional internal combustion engine vehicle. HEV can optimally match the power resources, improve the power train efficiency and has lower emissions. Sometimes HEV can have ultra lower or zero emissions. In American, Japan and many European countries many automotive companies have been working on HEV, and they have shown up many types of HEV precepts or samples, even products. Jilin University shouldered the project of the development and study of hybrid electric transit bus, together with Tianjin Electric Vehicle Co. Ltd. This dissertation is about the project.The paper studies the characteristics of primary power sources for HEV firstly, such as the ICE, generator and the batteries sets, so that the author can study and model control strategy for HEV transit bus. The author also develops ADVISOR in order to configurating and simulating the power train. First of all, the author studies and develops the Advisor. The paper studies the software-ADVISOR in order to simulate the dynamical and oil consumption efficiency performance of the hybrid electric transit bus. The software was developed by the NREL for the 'PNGV'Project. You may benefit from using ADVISOR if you want to estimate the fuel economy of vehicles that have not yet been built, learn about how conventional, hybrid, or electric vehicles use (and lose) energy throughout their drive trains, compare relative tailpipe emissions produced on a number of cycles, evaluate an energy management strategy for your hybrid vehicle's fuel converter; optimize the gear ratios in your transmission to minimize fuel use or maximize performance, etc. For instance, there are two ways of modeling the ICE in ADVISOR. One is theory module and the other is experimental module. The ADVISOR makes full use of these two prototype modules. Secondly, the author studies the Serial HEV transit bus'control systems and its control strategy, and gets details of different driving models. The author introduces the distributions of different powers-mechanic power and electric power, providing a theoretical rule for vehicle's parameters optimizing in different drive cycles. There are two models in the serial HEV control strategy as thermostat and power follower. The two control models are compared and analyzed in this paper. But this paper's control strategy is 'thermostat plus power follower'model considering the times of engine on/off and batteries life. The paper analyzes the implementation of those two... |
