The transformer substation integrated automation system develop until today, its communication network go through bunches of mouthfuls of communication way and reach the communication way of the LAN. At present, transformer substation adopts divide layers of distributed network structure mostly, with Ethernet and fieldbus coexisted to form multi-level communication network. And wire communication is of great majority. There are more circuits with complicated connection way, which cause much circuit hidden danger. The structure is regular and lack the flexibility, the floor space is relatively large. In order to improve the whole system's dependability, opening and expansibility, this thesis try a new-type telecommunication technology - bluetooth technology, to apply to the transformer substation integrated automation system. Bluetooth works on the global unified and opening 2. 4GHz frequency band, adopts frequency hopping technology, with strong anti-interference, strong opening, low power dissipation and low costs.At first, the thesis introduce the development of the complex automatic system of the transformer substation and its communication network's current situations, explain the research meaning of the subject, provide the groundwork that the thesis should finish. Then introduce the basic characteristic of bluetooth technology and its successful application in industry of the present stage. Combining the demand for complex automatic system communication of the transformer substation, comparing several kinds of wireless communication technology, this thesis analyzed the feasibility of bluetooth technology used in the complex automatic system of the transformer substation.On this basis, this thesis regards the transformer substation integrated automation system as the example, have designed from the following several respects based on bluetooth: system's network formation, structure of the hardware, procedure of the software and anti-interference.
