With development of China's power grids, more and more importance has been attached to safe and reliable operation of substations. Various interferences in substations will be, inevitably, led into the secondary equipment via induction, conduction, radiation and other means. In case the interference level goes beyond the withstanding capability of such equipment, their incorrect operations may result, while the quality of substation grounding system can have a great influence on eliminating interference. In the event of system fault, interference may cause incorrect operation of such equipment, which may directly influence the security and reliability of system, and may have a very severe consequence. With application of substation integrated automation equipment, the unattended operation has been made possible. At present, the substations of this kind are increasingly developing, and to ensure the smooth communication for the substations of this kind has become the issue that should not be neglected.To study and solve the issue of resistance to interference of integrated automation system focuses on two points: One is to formulate the criterion of anti-interference level of products, and put emphasis on studying the standard test methods and relevant facilities of various interference performances, which can recur under the condition of testing laboratory, and may be encountered in actual operations. The other is to actually measure the electromagnetic field strength under different conditions of real operations, the levels and performances of interferences led into the secondary equipment, assess the possible max interference value, seek and evaluate the practicable and feasible technical measures available to reduce the interference level. Therefore, it is unavoidable and indispensable to take an approach to the problem of interference of integrated automation system, protective devices, safe and automation devices, as well as the grounding of secondary system. Based on the detailed analysis on interference type and method of integrated automation substation, this thesis has put forward the corresponding anti-interference proposal aiming at the practical situation in field.
