Traction motor and electric appliances are the important components of track motive vehicle, whose test technology is a foundation that guarantees their quantity. The test of locomotive traction electric appliances test is carried on in dispersible experiment set for long time. The data record and processing of the experiments is very complex, and it is easy to produce artificial error. Now, the electric voltage and electric current signal of AC drive system is made, and influence of harmonics is very great. And because its work frequency is variable constantly, traditional test and data process method cannot attain accurate test result. Therefore, the test technology of traction motor and electric appliances based on virtual instrument concept is studied in the paper.In the paper, the definition of non-sine waveform electric parameters and the theory of frequency field analysis is discussed and researched in the first place. A kind of data processing method is studied for electric voltage and current waveform of AC traction motor. (1)do the analysis of FFT to the original signal,(2) assure the rough signal period. (3)do the moving average filter according to the period, (4)get the accurate signal period by zero-point test way. (5)get the whole period signal, do the second sample to it (6)do the FFT analysis to the second sample signal and compute related electric parameters.On the basis of the test requirement analysis and test method of traction electric motor and appliances, the system total scheme and the concrete design of the software and hardware is finished in the paper. For traction appliances test system, the paper put forward two kinds of scheme, In the first scheme, the test of action time parameter adopted the count type test method. The second scheme adopted waveform test method totally based on virtual instrument, which can attain the test electric appliance's loop voltage, contact resistance of touch end, action time and release time and make integration degree of the test system is higher.In the final, adopts the actual test low frequency and middle-frequency electric voltage and current data of variable-frequency and variable-speed motor of the some factory, makes use of the studied data processing method in the paper analyzes the above signal, attains the accurate result and verifies the accuracy and...
