The technical problem of converting from an A.C. single-phase to three-phase exists not only in electrified railway system. In fact, similar technical problem hasn't solved well for a long time in industry electric power system and civil electric power system. With the development of power electronics technology, inventor has been used widely. But it has some disadvantage such as high cost, low dependability and difficult to maintain, and these disadvantages prevent it to have more application. The technology converting from single-phase to three phase which is based on Static VAR Compensator can satisfy those occasions which need not high request and reasonable price.This paper introduces the control law of converting from an A.C. single-phase to three-phase, gives out the realization ways of converting from an A.C. single phase to three-phase, introduces the DSJ-1 transformer converting from an A.C. single-phase to three-phase and its improving ways.The paper gives out three theory schemes converting from an A.C. single-phase to three-phase. Through comparison, draw the conclusion that the third way is better than the two other ways. Design the realization ways converting from an A.C. single-phase to three-phase which are based on TCR and TSC, educe the one-phase to three-phase converter which is conformable to electrified railway. Introduce the analysis of electromagnetic relation, principle of phase conversion, self-control of the voltage of DSJ-1 transformer based on saturated reactor. Draw the conclusion that the improving ways based on saturated iron core and alterable capacitor is reasonable, and give out the four improving ways for the transformer converting from an A.C. single-phase to three-phase. Design the parameter of single-phase to three-phase converter.To prove the result of control law, a simulation model for single-phase to three-phase converter is established under the MATLAB/Simulink flat. The simulation result shows that symmetry of three-phase voltage output doesn't change when the peak and phase of voltage input change.
