This paper illustrates the designing principle and technology -fulfillment of CAD system of axle parts in reducer, introducing the overall design plan of CAD system in reducer, the constituent of CAD system in axle parts and the functions of every module. Taking AutoCAD 2002 (Chinese Version) as its developing platform and under the programming environment of VBA, this system has developed the custom interface which is consistent with the Auto CAD itself in style, which results in friendly man-machine interactive interface and convenience in operation. According to fuzzy design method and aiming at the fuzziness of the related design parameter in the designing of gear driving, this paper has considered the effects that the fuzzy elements may have on the results during the designing, such as the level of the designer, the quality of the material, and has succeeded in setting up the fuzzy and optimal mathematic modeling of gear driving in reducer, which will have a better effect with the designed gear driving being more practical. In the process of the design of axle parts in reducer, this system adopts the technology of parametric feature modeling, which is helpful to the comprehensive description of axle parts information and its transfer in designing and figure-protracting. With the intelligent technology based on expert system, this system has also established knowledge database, which may help the system reason and judge to ensure the intelligence in the design of axle parts, that's to say, the system can confirm the diameter, length and precision of axle parts automatically. It has developed the graphical user interface in which menu and dialogue frame are the main parts, and may help to obtain the intelligent designing in parameter and automatic plotting of relevant designs. This paper researches the computing of bearing life and the checking of the intensity of bolt and bearing, and develops the computing module in CAD system. The computing module built in axle parts lays emphasis on analyzing the way built according to the distinguishing way of fuzzy mode and the way that can make the system automatically choose bearings that satisfy the requirements of axle part and their life-span. Through building the sharable database of axle parts in Access 2000 and visiting the objects of data, the access, inquiry and modification of dat a during designing, computing and drawing may be accomplished, and some problems arising in the meantime may also be solved effectively.
