In order to section,saving energy, protect environment. In the early90century thecountry banned the use of solid clay brick, and promulgated a number of laws, rules andregulations. At present our country clay brick main alternatives are sintered porous brickand non sintered porous brick. Sintered porous brick mainly sintered porous clay brick,coal gangue porous brick, shale porous brick. But the clay porous brick has been includedin the "ban stick ", the coal gangue porous brick with coal mines led to the use of a limitedrange of coexistence. Therefore, sintered shale brick as part of a preferred alternative claybrick. And shale in Guangxi is rich in resources, burned shale perforated brick isundoubtedly the best products to replace the clay brick.Shale porous brick technology has been included in the construction of Guangxi areain2007focused on the promotion of technology, shale perforated brick is a kind of landsaving, energy saving, heat insulation and sound insulation of new wall material, whichcan be used for multistoried building load-bearing walls in. But because the shale deposits,resulting in theory study is relatively weak, National standard" sintered porous brick" onlybrick product standards, in actual use only with reference to other rules, only Chongqingcity to prepare related technical specification-" sintering shale porous brick and hollowbrick masonry structure technical specification", there is no specific national technicalregulations. Due to the brittle shale porous brick, design it is difficult to grasp, to causeinconvenient use and possible hidden safety problems, hinder the shale brick industry todevelop energetically, in order to break through this obstacle, Guangxi University ofTechnology organize the preparation of" technical code for building burned shaleperforated brick", and the project for the Guangxi Hall of science and technology project(Guangxi Science and technology research project0861001-7).This article focuses on the following aspects of the shale porous brick are studied:1.Test of axial compressive strength, observe and analyze its failure characteristics,study of compressive deformation properties, determine the compressive strength, theregression analysis of experimental data, and puts forward the proposal formula; describethe shale perforated brick masonry compressive stress-strain curve, the shale perforatedbrick masonry with elastic modulus;2.Through the general seam of masonry shear strength along the experimentalresearch, observe and analyze its failure characteristics, determine the shear strengthformula, and puts forward some suggestions; 3.Slot and through joint flexural tensile test, research and analysis of two kinds ofbending tensile strength test of damage characteristics, the strength calculation formula.In this paper, the shale perforated brick masonry mechanical properties of shaleporous brick masonry, a comprehensive understanding of the basic mechanical properties,for the preparation of" technical code for building burned shale perforated brick" toprovide reliable information and basis, to carry out the experimental study.
