The I.C. engine load is heavy and its work environment is bad. The quality of its lubrication work affects the life span of the engine directly. The oil cooler is an important part to lubrication system. It is used to cool the oil, so that the engine oil temperature can be kept within the most beneficial scope to ensure that the engine oil have the normal lubrication function. The hydraulic fatigue performance test is the most fundamental trial in the development and production process of oil cooler. With the increasing demand of the product quantity from customers, the real time, reliability, automation and intelligence of the test system are more strictly demanded. The content of the research is the engine oil cooler hydraulic fatigue test SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system.The principal contents of the thesis are as follows:1. According to the tasks and features of the test system, analyze the real time, reliability, automation and intelligence demand of the test system. Apply the DCS principal design philosophy which stands for the SCADA technique development direction to the design and development of the engine oil cooler hydraulic fatigue test SCADA system. Put forward the three layer system structure: ?field facilities layer (2) directly digital control layer (3) supervisory control and management layer. Realize the combination of the PLC and DCS technology in the directly digital control layer. Apply the PC-Based PLC standing for the PLC technique development direction to the directly digital control layer. And set up a new kind of oil cooler fatigue test SCADA system which combines the diverse technique.2. With the deep comprehension of the PC-Based PLC hardware and the fatigue test system structure principle, summarize the problems of PC-Based PLC selection and application. According to the design principle of distribute control system, complete the selection and design of test system hardware.3. According to the demand of the real time, reliability, running process complicacy of the test system, divide the system application into three layer: (1)supervisory and management layer of PC (2)communication layer (3)real-time control application of embedded system. Make good advantage of the embedded controller tiny kernel, the blocking technique of advanced program language C++ and the API afforded by PC-Based PLC. Analyze the tasks of the test system directly digital control layer. Complete the development of the PC-Based PLC real-time control application. According to the man-machine interface, information handling mechanism and data management demand of supervisoryand management layer of PC, complete the software development of supervisory and management layer of PC. Classify the diverse task of communication layer subtly. Study the RS232 communication technique. Institute the communication protocol and realize the communication.The principal features of the thesis are as follows: Combine the diverse technique standing for the process control development direction. Combine close the DCS design philosophy of "To scatter the danger and control, to concentrate the operation and management" and PLC technique to the test system design and development. The system has been operating. Comparing with old test system, it is more reliable, intelligent, flexible and real-time. And the running result is satisfying. The investigation indicates that the test system technique is advanced among the same kind test system in china.
