The steel frame is a commonly used structure system of the steel construction of much skyscrapers, the column-beam connections is a key connection part in the steel frame, it's performance influences the behavior of frame structure directly under loads, especially under dynamical loads.This paper has carried on theoretical research and finite element analysis to the new-type posttensioned connections. Derive the expression formula of the main parameter which .confirm the semi-rigid performance of posttensioned connections, including initial rigidity and ultimate load, Using large finite element software in common—ANSYS processed the meticulous finite element analysis, probe into strength performance and destroy characteristic of this in concentrate load and circulation load separately. And just contrast the rigid and hinged connections; have proved concentration ability and advantage in such aspects as rigidity, intensity and ductility of posttensioned connections. Processing a comparison of posttensioned connections with different component size at the same time, confirmed the influence degree to posttensioned connections performance of angle, posttensioned strands and bolt, and proposed the optimum pattern.In order to confirm the seism-resisted performance of the frame withposttensioned connections, carrying on dynamical time-history analysis to one eight stories frame which simulate posttensioned connections by rotate spring. Through to the comparison in story drift ?> ductility coefficient ,etc. Proved that the frame with posttensioned connections is on the premise of meeting demand out of shape, and can reduce the internal force of the frame, make the structure and component become more and more safe, have good seism-resisted ability, and can reduce the sprit quantity and amount of steel used of connections .So the posttensioned connections is a kind of economic, rational column-beam connections pattern.
