To accomplish the assessment test on the precision of accurate stance measurement system for the certain synthetic testing ship, as well as the testing task on the sea carried out mainly by some gyro navigation equipment represented by inertia navigation equipment and plate compass, the BSL type navigation facility is to be put into optimization design. It is to adopt the current domestic and international advanced technology, to improve the performance index, operation stability and operational interfacial visualization on the basis of reserving the original functions, so that to provide for the range a set of ship stance measurement facility with high precision, which can give out the series and real-time norm data on yaw/roll/pitch angel.This article has first outlined the usage and composition of the BSL navigation facility, as well as some problems existing in the original equipment, and proposed the concrete optimization methods to the equipment, mainly carrying on the optimization design from the following several aspects:Development of the interface electric circuitManufacture of the interface board of the servo systemDesign of the interface board of the inertia navigation stance informationDesign of time-base signal timing counter electric circuit with high precisionThe general software designThe optimization interface boxThen this article has analyzed highly from the certain theory the astronomy computation mathematical models, used in the BSL navigation-based facility, which constitute the theory basis and fundamental frame for the astronomical positioning computation. And it has carried on the astronomy automatic positioning calculation software design, produced software optimization design progress for each interface board, and realized the concrete optimization plan for the accessory software programming.The BSL navigation facility has been proven through maritime test and utilization to fully meet the design requirements and the heading measurement accuracy has been improved.
