The subway dispatcher uses Automatic Train Supervision system to monitor and control the operation process of subway vehicle.The human-machine interface of ATS system directly affects the efficiency and effectiveness of the interaction between dispatchers and ATS system.Therefore,it is necessary to research on human machine interface of ATS system,so as to enhance the responsiveness and processing capacity of the subway dispatcher,further ensure the safety of driving and improve the efficiency of operation.This thesis has completed the usability evaluation of the human-machine interface of the subway ATS interface system.Based on that,we proposed an improved design plan and carried out an experimental study for the navigation problem.The specific work completed in this thesis is as follows:(1)In the Beijing Subway Dispatch Center,an interview of ATS interface for senior dispenser is carried out.On this basis,a PUTQ based ATS interface usability questionnaire is designed and implemented in Beijing Metro Control Center.The method combined user interviews and questionnaires is used to find out the availability factors that affect the operator's performance in human-computer interaction.(2)Because of the key issue of ATS interface usability-navigation and orientation,an ATS navigation interface mode based on combined mode with overview and detail is studied and proposed,which can help users locate the alarm task targets faster.This thesis also completes the design prototype of the interface based on WPF technology.(3)The thesis establishes ATS interface of typical subway line,it consists of 6 signal management center stations,23 stations and designed 11 ATS function tasks.Then we did an experiment.The independent variables in the test are navigation mode,screen size and screen number.And the usability index consist of the total time to complete the task,participants' preference,mouse click times and mouse running mileage are the dependent variables.The experimental results show that the number and size of the display screen did not significantly enhance the usability of ATS interface.Compared with the existing ATS navigation mode,the new mode of combined overview and detail can help quickly to complete the task,simplify the operation of the mouse.The experimental results verify the effectiveness of the improved model of ATS navigation interface based on the combination of overview and detail mode.
