This report starts with the analysis of high enthalpy real-gas effect, on the basis of high enthalpy real gas effect's characteristics to analyse similar parameters of wind runnel, impose necessary main simulation parameters of wind tunnel. This report introduces operational principle and equipment construction, measures and analysis the compressed process driven by piston, makes a thorough investigation and study of flow-field of shock wave tube and nozzle. Flow field uniform section dimensions and stable test time are determined by the experiment, utilizes nozzle un-equillium flow-field numerical caculated results to analysis un-equillium characteristics of nozzle flow, some study are carried out, such as coaxial thermal couple production, calibration, application and so on, all of these solved a difficulty during heat flux measurment on the condition of high temperature, high pressure, and with-pollution. During typical configuration experiments of sphere, column, flat plate model, measuring pressure and heat-flux are carried out on the high enthalpy free-piston shock tunnel.After the study, further recongniztion are done to flow characteristics of high enthalpy free piston shock wave wind tunnel. This experiment technology are adapt for high enthalpy free piston shock wave wind tunnel and makes a foundation for carrying out high enthalpy real gas effect experiment.
