With the fast development of social productivity and gradual improvement in standard of living, people have more and more intense demand for indoor thermal environment quality. The building that has safe, comfortable, healthy indoor thermal environment is the ideal pursuit. To create the preferable indoor thermal environment, it is necessary to have deep and quantitative understanding on it, which is the base of research on influence of indoor thermal environment on physiological indexes and thermal comfort of human body. The paper makes the typical summer swelter climate in Chongqing as the study object. Surveys the residents living there by doing thermal environment questionnaires and measures the experimental object's physiological indexes of human body in the lab's indoor thermal environment. The purpose is to make certain the influence trend and the main physical parameters of summer indoor thermal environment which have an effect on physiological indexes and thermal comfort of human body. The study measures locale thermal environment parameters and physiological indexes of human body, and has a big sample questionnaire investigation of thermal comfort. Apply t-test analysis methodology to analyze the physiological data of human body, then acquire visible influence degree and trend of indoor thermal environment parameters on physiological indexes of human body. Through study and analysis, we can draw a conclusion as follows: The residents in Chongqing have adapted to the swelter weather in summer. They use kinds of methods (such as air-conditioning, window-opening etc.) to reduce temperature of residential thermal environment and ventilate the room. Under indoor thermal environment in Chongqing summer, increasing indoor air velocity can lose the uncomfortable feeling resulting from high temperature. Indoor air temperature's increase will reduce the uncomfortable feeling from air draft. Indoor air temperature has visible effects on MCS(Motor Nerve Conduction Speed), SCS(Sensory Nerve Conduction Speed), BT(Body Temperature), HR(Heart Rate) value when air velocity is high and the ECG(Electrocardiogram) index —QT interphase of human body when air velocity is low and SLSEP(Short Latency Somatosensory Evoked Potential) indexes—the apexes of latent period of N9. The higher indoor temperature is, the faster MCS and SCS are,the higher BT and HR are, the shorter QT interphase and the apexes of latent period of N9 are. Indoor air temperature has invisible effect on other physiological indexes. Except the visible effect on BT, HR and MCS value when air temperature is high, indoor air velocity has no effect on other physiological indexes.
