With the development of economic and society in cities in China and with the increase of population and the rapid augment of the quantity of motorcar, resident environment is becoming ever more important in our life. And with the advancement of standard of living, people need more high indoor environmental quality. Noise environment is one element of indoor environment. Nowadays, there are quite a few buildings(include resident and office building on either side of arterial highway and lesser highway). The inhabitants who live in street buildings are severely disturbed by traffic noise. And the incident of disturbed by traffic noise is frequently occurred. Furthermore, some of these incidents are not over the noise-criterion. There is no traffic noise-criterion. The paper has stated the survey of noise pollution in street building and non-street building in downtown in Chongqing. And the investigators have analyzed the influencing grade and incidence of traffic noise to those residents. The investigators have made inquiring investigation on the tested people and analyzed the relationship of subjective sense and external test. The paper has stated the research of the impact of indoor environmental noise on physical parameter of some people.. The investigative object is indoor environmental noise which different from previous research. This research is disclosed the physical parameter of people in noise of different intensity (less than eighty-five decibel). The conclusion of this research could provide basal data for mechanism of noise to health and provide basal data and reference for edit of resident noise. The object of this research is twelve people (include six males and six females). In five level(forty decibel, fifty-five decibel, sixty-five decibel, seventy-five decibel and sixty-five decibel in music), those people have been tested the heart rate, blood pressure, electroencephalogram, electrocardiogram, conduction speed of sensory nerve, conduction speed of motorial nerve and somatosensory evoked potentials. In three levels (forty decibel, sixty-five decibel and eighty-five decibel), those people have been tested auditory brainstem response. The main conclusion could be demonstrated as below, with the increase of noise intensity, The swing of α1 and α2 of lift and right occiput in electroencephalogram have a trend of decline with the increase of noise intensity. And the average swing of lift and right occiput in electroencephalogram has a trend of increase. The latency of three-wave, four-wave and five-wave of auditory brainstem response has a trend of increase with the increase of noise decline. The researchers have found a result that is conduction velocity of sensory nerve and blood pressure are declining with the increase of noisy intensity. This found should be further researched. The paper has analyzed the relation of subjective sense and external test. The author found that there is very well consistency. This indicated that questionnaire is also an effective method of research of noise and health.
