The honeycombed-core hollow floor is a new style of floor. The weight of this floor is small and the span of this floor is large. Compared with the flat-slab floor and the waffle floor, the honeycombed-core hollow floor adapts the demands for the floor system of this age. It has been used in some projects and has gained great social effects and economical profits. However, the lack of research on this special structure home and abroad has led to the station that we don't know what the force performance is and how to design it. The results are that design is conservative and material is wasted, so advantage of this special structure isn't displayed. Finite element analysis is carried out in this thesis according to a lot of experimental studies. Main works that have been done in this thesis including: 1. Tests of a set of batten have been carried out, which proved that the soleplate of precast honeycomb could integrate with surrounding concrete. 2. Tests of a full-scale corner columns supported honeycombed-core hollow floor under short-term uniformly distributed loads have been carried out. Tests results show this slab has nearly the same failure model as that of the solid slab, with the former behaved well than the latter. 3. Tests of a full-scale simply supported square honeycombed-core hollow floor have been carried out. Tests results show the deformation .of this floor is very little under elastic period. The strain of concrete proved the precast honeycomb participated in suffering force. 4. The finite element's models of the same as the testing floors are set up. Comparing the finite element calculation with test' data under elastic period, the conclusion shows the finite element calculation is right. The finite element's models of waffle floor and solid floor are set up. The result is that comparing of waffle floor, the deformation of the honeycombed-core hollow floor is less than the former; comparing of solid floor, the weight of the honeycombed-core hollow floor reduce a lot. So this new style of floor will be spread in the future.
