Instrument Automation Management System

Based on the function demanding analysis of intelligent calibrator, this paper researched and developed Instrument Automation Management System (IMAS) software for thermal instrument, which can manage the calibration data and print the recording report forms automatically. Firstly, it introduced the calibration mode, analyzed and designed the interface protocol to download and upload the calibration data based on the RS-232 serial communication interface, and gave BetaGauge II as an example to explain the flow chart of downloading the parameters and uploading the results in detail. This software used the blocking designing and uniform database managing to accomplish the instrumen automation management of the process calibration data, the field instrument nameplate data and the data of revising spot, revising plan and revising result. This software has been successfully used in Changxing Power Plant Company Limited.
