This article concerns about demands, operation of IP casing start-up, points out the disadvantages of HP-IP cylinders unite start-up, the advantages and applied prospect of IP cylinder start-up. This paper research and analyze the improvements and operation practices of start-up mode of 300MW turbines thru intermediate pressure cylinder In ANSHUN power plant. The starting-up time is reduced in the test of IP case starting-up, and large amount of ignition oil is saved while the settling value for expenditure of life expectation is not exceeded. The system designed features, High-pressure casing of steam turbine prewarming and medium pressure casing starting of 300MW turbine. Power generators are discussed and it is concluded from the analysis of IP cylinder starting advantages that IP cylinder start-up is an economic, efficient, safe and reliable start-up method in Start-up of 300MW Steam turbine Units through IP Cylinder.
