In recent years, with the rapid economic development, the level of bridge structure is under high demand. Since the bridge structure in the city is an important part of the city view, its esthetics shape becomes upmost important. It is of urgent demand to study and design bridge structures which is both reasonable and beautiful. This paper is based on the former research taking the No.1 Tong-Lv Bridge as an example; the large universal finite element program Midas/Civil is adopted, a three-dimensional finite element model is established. The static performance, the comparative analysis of influence surfaces, the experimental study and the analysis of a local finite element model of the new style three-span continuous through type bow-string arch bridge is made. With these studies, this paper is aimed at revealing the performance of this kind of construction. Moreover, some suggestion is provided for structure analysis of the same structural system bridge in the future. In this thesis the following work is carried out: (1)The large-scale universal finite element program Midas/Civil is adopted. The three-dimensional interaction of component is considered. Some suggestions to solve a series of problems such as the finite element model foundations of complicated bridges, the simplified problem of entity, the choice of element type and load, the mode of load-carrying, the simulation of boundary condition are provided. Some constructive methods to the establishment of the finite model of the same kind of structure are put forward. (2)The general static performance of three-span continuous through type bow-string arch bridge is calculated. (3)By the influence surface analysis of the three-equal-span continuous beam bridge and the simple-span bow-string arch bridge, the structural performance is compared with the three-span continuous through type bow-string arch bridge. The advantage of three-span continuous through type bow-string arch bridge is revealed providing exceeding competitive scheme for the same kind of bridges. (4)Based on the analysis above, a local finite element model of the united-arch-feet three-span continuous through type bow-string arch bridge is established and analyzed. The simplification of the external force and the boundary displacement, the internal relation between local analysis and whole analysis, the analytic method of partial nodes are discussed. Suggestion is made for the design and construction of this kind of bridges, insuring the structure safety. (5)Suggestion and conclusion are drawn. Further research and study is needed.
