With the development of freeways,the velocity of automobile has increased considerably, and the automobile suspension, which plays an important role in automobile stability and braking stability, has been becoming more and more important, So automobile suspension kinetics simulation has been a very important task in automobile design and development. The automobile suspension is a multi-body system and the motion relationship among the parts is very complicated,so it brings many difficulties to compute the various characteristics with traditional computation methods. By employing the computer virtual prototype techniques, this chapter is embodied with great significance in the conducting mechanism of suspension system and the simulation of adjustable damp. Traditional vehicle design involves physical sample experiment which casts a lot of money and time. While through the analysis of virtual prototype simulation, without the physical sampler, it offers the simulation data for the suspension design, and provides the reference for manufacturing the suspension system. To perfect a task, one must perfect his tools. This paper deals with the simulation by ADAMS software. ADAMS(Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems)is developed by American Mechanical Dynamics Inc, and is one of the best mechanical simulation software . It is the most authoritative and most widely-used simulation software of mechanical system . Recently MDI develops many specialized modules which reinforce the application of ADAMS in every field . This paper employs ADAMS/car module ,build Macpherson suspension by the suspension module in ADAMS/car. Macpherson suspension which is widely used in various cars dominates the automobile field . Therefore the dynamic analysis and the optimization of Macpherson suspension is compromising. Based on the theories of multi-system dynamics, employing ADAMS/car. This paper builds up dynamic model of macpherson suspension , and shows the principle of it's dynamics, discusses the factors that influence its function, and makes a optimizing analysis.
