Since the inception of the car, it catches a high priority from the people. After100years of development, the car has become extremely important means of transport in the transport area and people everyday life now, which play an important role. As the car market is filled with fierce competition, people pay more attention to the user of the vehicle safety, ride comfort, handling and stability. Vehicle suspension as an important part of the car, and gets more and more attention by people. Automotive suspension systems’characteristics have affecting on vehicle handling and the most critical components, which including automotive wheel alignment parameters that has a direct impact on the vehicle dynamic characteristics of control.With the rapid development of computer technology, virtual technology used in the automotive field has became more and more extensive. Because of the use of virtual technology, the vehicle’s suspension and the vehicle for suspension kinematic/dynamic simulation analysis takes greatly facilitate into improvement of vehicle performance and improvement. Considered of automobile suspension now is seriously realistic background, using computer technology to establish a virtual car MacPherson front suspension and researching its the dynamic characteristics. Analysis of dynamic characteristics, identify deficiencies and optimize it. This article also bases on this suspension as the front suspension establishes a car model. The establishment of the car model, uses virtual technology test vehicle’s handling and stability characteristics. Through this creative process, I had a productive session and build a good foundation for the future into the work.First, this paper constructed MacPherson front suspension with Ve DYNA (Vehicle Dynamic) software and the wheel parallel to the beating was carried out, and studied on the simulation results of the camber curve, the front toe angle curve and the kingpin inclination curves, carried out proposed optimization method and used of software suspension ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems) to optimized suspension. Then, this paper also based on the suspension as a certain car models before the suspension, using Ve DYNA software to build the vehicle model, making snake test, test to try to change out some structural parameters such as the centroid height, spring stiffness, vehicle load and so on. On the analysis of test results, verify the parameters toke affect on the vehicle handling and stability, which also cryptographically verifies the suspension and the car models comply with design requirements and has good in manipulating stability.In the end, this paper also tested the vehicle in accordance with national standards and international standards of the steering wheel angle step input test, simulation steady-state circular test, hunting tests and rapid lane change simulation test, further confirmation of the built model suspension and vehicle handling and stability characteristics are good.
