The concrete mixer vehicle is a main kind of construction equipments, which is widely used in the mining area, water conservancy, construction, road, harbor, the national defence and so on. So,it's development level is a embodiment of national comprehensive strength. In order to develop products with good capabilities, we must combine the theory designing with tests. At present, in our country, the designs of the concrete mixer vehicle is totally built on the basis of experience and short of tests to guide. Then, it is necessary to know the flow in the mixing device through our tests. There are two parts in the paper. The first part is theory. At first, I built the dynamic equations and differential equations of infinitesimal element layer, then we can obtain axial and tangential velocity equation of the two working conditions. We can predict the flow trend in the mixing device through these equations. The other part is experimental research. This paper contains the experimental curves and streamline of the internal flow in mixing device, through making use of the Laser-Doppler-Velocimetry system to do experimental researches about the internal flow of the two working state in mixing device. These experimental results make the internal flow states more ocularly. The paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter one firstly elaborates the development background and situations of domestic and foreign of the concrete mixing vehicle. Then, I analysed the key elements that influences capabilities of the concrete mixing vehicle. Secondly, introduces the flow of the current situation within the concrete mixing vehicle and impeller machinery of domestic and foreign. Finally, explains the purpose,meaning ,content and method of our research about the flow within the mixing vehicle in this text .
