| The thesis introduces the design of home network and provides a solution to available home network by analyzing and comparing the present development and application situation about kinds of technologies of home network, and develops intelligent switch model and use it in product, and designs the system frame of smart home terminal.The thesis begins with the development trend of home network, then compares kinds of technologies and standards, and puts forward the content of this thesis. After analyzing the situation of present smart home market and technology trend, it completes the decomposition of the function of the smart home and the partition of the function models, gets prepared for the system design to apply in production.The thesis analyses the CEBus protocal, and bases on it to design an inner home network bus protocal and the frame of network. Using RS-485 network as a base, using modularization and structuring design as the standard, the thesis developes intelligence switch model, complete the design of hardware and software and then uses the model in products. The thesis discusses the circuit design and the software implement of intelligence switch model.The design of smart home terminal uses SAMSUNG S3C44B0X chip based on ARM7 instructure. The thesis introduces the design of software and hardware of home gateway and whole developing process of relevant embedded system.
