The Research On Modern Administration Building

The administration building is one of the oldest and most important building types. In history, it always took the designers with the highest art and technique abilities a quite long period to build administration buildings, spending the whole country's wealth. It has its unique design methods, standards and systems and is the valuable materials from which we can study the ancient buildings, cities, cultures, arts and techniques.Nowadays, during the lasting transition of our society and rapidly renewal process of the cities, the administration building has more new functions and the theories have got some breakthroughs. Compared with traditional administration building, the modern administration building will have to change its space and structure. While paying attention to the Chinese national situations and learning from the advanced modes of western administration buildings, this dissertation has analyzed some domestic and international administration buildings comparatively so that we can achieve some enlightening conclusions. Firstly, this dissertation has started with the history of Chinese and foreign administration buildings trying to seek the inherent rules of their development and cultural and social background; Secondly, it has analyzed the basic functional spaces and the plans of modern administration building; Then the paper goes to two important respects of modern administration building —shaping image and environmental design which have been analyzed especially; discussing the hot questions of the present administration building correspondingly; At last, the dissertation has explained some principles of the modern administration building design.Based on the relationship between the buildings and the citizens, this research on administration building tries to abolish the constraints of the inherent modes of administration building as well as to create the appropriate modern Chinese administration building by using typology and psychological theories.
