In recent years, our country’s hydropower construction has made greatdevelopment,.However in the process of power turbine’s load in the constantly changing,make its speed changes, causes the output voltage and frequency of instability. This can’tmeet the needs of the user.The output of the generator frequency changes over speed, in order to satisfy thehydroelectric generating set grid transmission frequency index, need for speed control ofhydro-generator units. Speed regulator in the hydroelectric generating set grid generationsystem is a core control unit, It through to the hydraulic drive-schedule of relay control,real-time to the regulation of the water turbine guide vane opening, to adjust the torquesize to water, so as to realize to control the rotational speed of turbine units to keep it in acertain range, finally realizes the stable output voltage and frequency.In this paper, first of all, according to the working principle of the hydro turbinegoverning system, the turbine regulating system into several modules, adopts the modularmodeling design. According to the signal link relations between modules, the linearizationof the turbine regulating system mathematical model is established. It can be seen that theturbine speed control system is a high order, non-minimum phase of complex dynamicsystem, parameter time-varying and nonlinear. The hydro-turbine governing system modelof these features, governor if using the traditional PID control algorithm, throughsimulation and a given disturbance simulation load rejection, found the speed controlsystem meets the requirement of performance indicators. Therefore in the speed governorcontrol model fuzzy-PI control algorithm is introduced. According to the simulation andanalysis of several working conditions, and the results are compared with PID controlalgorithm, the results show that the fuzzy-PI control algorithm in the hydro turbinegoverning system has strong robustness, and greatly improved the stability and rapidity ofthe system.
