Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) driven by triphase sinusoidal current is researched in this thesis. The methods of simulation and experiment are used in the research of the direct torque control(DTC) of PMSM. A simulation model of control system is given Based on MatLab/SimuLink. Based on DSP and IPM, the control system platform is provided and the related experimental result is consistent with the theory analysis.Firstly, the organization and characteristic of PMSM is introduced, and the mathematics models in various coordinate are set up. Then the principle of PMSM DTC is discussed deeply. And the action of voltage space vector on flux linkage and torque is analyzed. The figure of principle structure is proposed. Finally, A novel DTC scheme for PMSM is proposed in this thesis, which is based on the area voltage vector. And the thesis offers the available modulation algorithm between torque and flux. By the theory analysis and simulation based on MatLab6.5/SimuLink5.0. The proposed strategy is proved to diminishing the torque ripple Especially in low speed rang. In addition, both the precision of controlling and high dynamic performance was achieved.According to the principle and structure of PMSM DTC. The thesis set up the sub-modules of PMSM DTC system by MatLab/SimuLink. The simulation of opened-loop and closed-loop are earned out. And the simulation results show the method is effective. In virtue of the characteristic of the quickly dynamics response of DTC technology, the wind turbine simulation is a successful in the used of the control system based on PMSM DTC, the characteristic curve of wind turbine is perfect.Based on the simulation, this thesis divided into different logical functions, with the arrangement DSP TMS320LF2407A and IPM PM30CSJ060, the digital control hardware platform is provided .Experiment of TYB300-4 PMSM based on SPWM SVPWM DTC methods are earned out and the experimental results were concordant with those of simulation.
