In the field of modern power driving, the adjustable speed control of AC asynchronous motor by inverter is a hot spot because of its notable energy saving function and continuous variable speed. This thesis mainly introduced a new digital signal processor TMS320LF2407A specially used in the asynchronous motor control and its applications in the VVVF system.This thesis firstly introduced the phylogeny and actuality in the field of AC frequency conversion. Then a DSP chip TMS320LF2407A and its performance were presented, and at the same time Space Vector PWM technique and its realization via TMS320LF2407A were presented. And then systemic hardware and software were designed. Finally test results and its analysis were presented, and more perfection lately was put forward.The system adopted constant V/F control and Space Vector PWM technique. A high-powered DSP chip was used to realize expediently the complicated Space Vector PWM algorithm. At the same time, LCD was adopted to display and it enhanced GUI.Test results proved that the motor had lower current harmonic, more efficient use of DC supply voltage than SPWM, less switch loss of power switch.The system had the advantages of simple control, little peripheral, high performance and low price, which would meet the demands of the inverters using in fan and water pump.
