While the growing needs for motor control performance, ordinary Single Chip Micyoco doesn't meet the request more and more. It's the development of DSP technology that provides strong assistance to the implement of advanced control theory and complex control algorithm. In the TMS320C24x series of DSPs of Texas Instruments, TMS320LF2407A has the most complete and strongest character, it's replacing TMS320F240 and TMS320LF2407, and becoming the most rivalrous digital motor controller.Therefor an experimental platform of motor control is designed based on TMS320LF2407A in this paper, in which the main circuit is a type two level three-phrase AC-DC-AC inverter. IPM (Intelligent Power Module) is used as the inverter, the inverter and switching power are supplied by a three-phase Diode bridge rectifier module. The switching power supplied insolated DC power to IPM, DSP control circuits,sensor and cooling fans.This system provides the abilities of educational experiment and product exploitation, permits on-line debugging and can be applied to asynchronous, synchronous, switched-reluctance, DC and other type motors, and it can also applied to high power factor PWM rectifier. Meanwhile the whole system of hardware and software adopts modularized design, abundant ports exist, and the usage is very convenient and flexible。 Utilizing this experimental platform can achieve the research of different control algorithms and different control targets in the least time.
