The safe norm of ships of our country makes the definite request for ships to equipping the fire automatic alarm and extinguishes system. Because the application of the ship fire alarm and extinguish system in our country start late, the domestic equipments in ships occupy few proportion, but the research in this field in abroad has tended in perfect, so the research and developing our own ship's automatic monitors and extinguish fire system have become the urgent matter. The study on the items will supply a gap about national ship fire automatic monitor and extinguish, and it has high theoretic value and actual application signification.The MCU is main part of the fire alarm controller, and this controller can detect automatically fire, display with LCM, alarm with sound and light, and give signal to spray automatically water-mist. This controller is the important part of the system. This paper makes an intensive research of the theory of fire alarm controller, and gives an introduction of the design concept, working principles and characteristics, and expatiate comprehensively method and course of the hardware of a practical fire alarm controller.Application objects and severe conditions are considered when the marine fire monitor and extinguish system is designed, so it is not only applicable for marine fire alarm, but also applicable for land use.
