Research Of Water Level Monitoring System Based On Lon Works Technology

With the development of microelectronics technology and computer network communication technology, the automation control meter trends towards distributed fieldbus technology. As the developmental direction of the future of the automation technology, the Fieldbus is maturating gradually and is applied to every field of auto-control. So exploiting the fieldbus software and hardware and applying it to the practical control project will accord with the developing evaluative direction of the automation control meter.Primarily using the Lon Works technology of Echelon corp. and technology of VB, ASP, and SQL to solve the problems. This paper mainly introduces the design and implementation of a networked control system based Lon Works fieldbus standard, which is composed of a hyper-computer with special network card and three intelligent nodes. The hyper-computer is used for configuration, network communication and dynamic watch, while the intelligent nodes are responsible for collecting local signal, computing and making control.Intelligent nodes are designed in the core of Neuron chip. LonWorks Communication technology is adopted to finish ISO/OSI seven-layer communication protocol. The LNS for Windows, a new technology of LonWorks Fieldbus makes it easy to develop the management system of intelligent water level network, realize the monitoring, control, management, and maintenance of the LON.The field-bus technology brings the new concept of intelligent networking sensor. Consequently, the intelligent networking sensor, if applied in the marine engine room to build up a FCS-Based monitoring and control system, will produce much greater benefits. The design scheme described in this dissertation is partly tested in lab. However, there is still a long way to go to make a product of such device.
