The future development of ship is establishing the comprehensive ship information network platform. All sensors and control computers on all ships system, inculding combat, navigation, control, communications are all seamlessly attached to the platform, and achieving the purpose of sharing information on the whole ship. Marine equipment along the network direction is the trend. Currently, a part of system has achieved network on ship. But it has a problem that the different nets have the different transmission and protocols, that the information in ship are not shared in net of the whole ship. To simplify design, reduce the use and management complexity, and the ship network information to improve the cost, based on ship in the existing network, Gateway as a whole will be available through the ship and navigation platform for information transmission network networking, to achieve the marine monitoring network and information exchange. For marine system bus for network communication, this paper proposes multi-bus the premise of the communication monitoring and information exchange programs under without increasing the hardware realization of switching equipment. the research network of information exchange and monitoring of marine technology In the VxWorks embedded operating system and Tornado integrated development environment.A new information transmission scheme is designed. Different nets ecxhange information and data monitoring could be achieved through applying this scheme. It can meet the requirement of, integrated intelligent, modular on the modern ship. In this scheme, the navigation sensors and navigation equipment are mounted in the integrated gateway designed in this paper. The gateway will realize information exchange and monitoring between different networks transmission, and realize the sharing the information in navigation equiments and the ship. And the modern information transmission nets are attached to the navigation platform as a whole.Firstly, in this paper the current ship of three common network technology, CAN Bus network technology, serial communications and Ethernet technology, are studied, which provide the theory basis for the information exchange and data monitor in the marine nets.Secondly, the hardware and the sofeware design platforms are choosed. And the overall design scheme is presented.Thirdly, the data monitoring and transceiver modules of CAN, serial, Ethernet are designed and implemented, respectively. The information exchange scheme is designed and the integrate gateway is implemented.And then the navigation message communication protocol is designed for the common navigation equipments. And the navigation message analysis module are designed and implemented on the application layer.Finally, the network informations exchange and data monitor function will be tested by the test software. The results shows that the gateway realizes different networks information exchange and data monitor functions in the paper.
