Research And Development On Fundamental Information Base For Intelligent Design Of The Coating Equipment

Intelligent design for coating equipments is proposed in this article to meet the rapid development of information technology, promotion of product design efficiency and quality, shortage of time cycle of new product development, and required immediate reaction to the market. This paper focuses on the construction of knowledge library, which is used to support the CAD system as the basis of intelligent design.Main work of this paper focuses on the followed multi-folds:(1) The total scheme for the information library of the coating equipment's intelligent design was given: the analysis of conception of intelligent design, the proposal of flow process of intelligent design, and the function module on information library of the intelligent design. Within this function module, the information library management system manages the information library through PDM, while the mold for standard parts drawing and CAD intelligent design can visit standard parts library directly.(2) The total structure of the standard parts library and function of all kinds of modules are proposed. The standard parts library is divided into parts of three levels to guarantee the separation of every part from the others. On this basis, detailed functions of every module of standard parts library are determined and the flow chart of design process, which plays an important role in the parametric design, isgiven.(3) Standard parts library is designed: the classification of standard parts and analysis of standard parts information are given on the base of assembling features. And the logic and physical design for standard parts library are presented according to E-R module of the standard parts which is proposed during the concept design.(4) Standard parts library is developed and accomplished: a research sample, which is developed using oriented-object idea, is given to demonstrate the process of standard parts development and parametric drawing.(5) The structure module of the knowledge library of the coating equipment's intelligent design is designed: according to the target of the knowledge library design, this paper suggests the dividing of layers of knowledge library, expresses the related knowledge of the coating equipment using the oriented-object ideas, and directs some research about the knowledge management and acquirement.(6) The scheme of PDM software is chosen aiming to small and medium-sized enterprises: based on necessity of enterprises implementing PDM, development and technology standard of PDM, the principle of actualizing and choosing PDM, and comparison between the foreign PDM and the native PDM, two schemes of specific PDM software is configured to be used in NANGUANG factory.
