Linear Switched Reluctance Motor (LSRM) is a new kind of traction motor. It has advantages of simple structure, reliable operation, great start force and high work efficiency, and can be used widely in the near future. The math model of LSRM, dynamic characteristics, PI controller, sensorless control algorithm and digital motor control platform based on TMS320VC33 are discussed in this paper.Linear inductance model is first presented in the thesis, basing on the linear model, operation methods and dynamic force-speed characteristics of LSRM are deduced to describe the motor. Nonlinear inductance equation is obtained in the second part. Based on the nonlinear model, the paper builds up simulation model under Matlab/Simulink environment and work out a PI controller by small signal method. The results show that this PI controller is effective in LSRM speed control. Rectified flux-based method is used in the paper. Simulation results verify the validity of the proposed method.In the last part, digital motor control system based on TI DSP is designed for further researches. The hardware is based on DSP EVM board, and software is based on C and Assembly mixture programming. |
