Shipboard Artillery System is an important component of Ship-borne Weapon System, it undertakes various fight missions. The system consists of two parts: shipboard artillery and tracker.Our research work is centered on the "software control" technique. What "software control" technique means is to implement command and control of the Shipboard Artillery System by software. "Software control" makes the system more autonomous and more intelligent.To simplify the scale of the system's model, we import object-oriented Petri net technique. In the model, we abstract classes based on "layer", and it simplifies the system's model more than ever.After analysis of the system, we find some shortcoming of the system. Therefore, we apply blackboard theory and token bus technique in it. It makes the system more stable and more reliable. However, our research work is still on the start stage, so the algorithm of each knowledge source is immature.The application of blackboard theory makes the system more coorperative and reconstructive. This technique can be applied in Shipboard Weapon System, too.
