Research indicates that over sixty percent of all the blunders are arisen from unbalanced rotor. Therefore all kinds of mechanicals should be processed strict dynamic balance before making and using. Two ways of dynamic balance can be used: equilibrator and field dynamic balance. Field dynamic balance is used more and more widely because of its convenience ,highly active and low price. At the present time, most of dynamic balance instruments are based on chip microcomputer, as for performance and capability of memorization of master control slug are restricated , expandability of system function is limited, the ability of dealing with vast scale data about signal processing is not very intensive, accuracy and speed of dynamic balance are not very ideal, the range of rotator's speed is narrow. In order to adapt modern dynamic balance and increase testing accuracy and make the interface of people and mechanics more friendly, the paper combine field dynamic balance testing technology and digital signal processing technology, develop a dynamic balance testing system base on DSP (digital signal processing). Development of state monitoring technology of rotational machines, and slug diagnosing technology, and rotator dynamic balance testing technology, application and existing condition of DSP technology are introduced in this paper, at the same time, intention and contents and significance of this paper are also introduced. Major ways of dynamic balance testing (influence coefficient method) are introduced too. The system uses TMS320LF2407 as major control chip, introduces system main scheme design, hardware design, software design, and gives detail experimental procedure and analysis of experimental data. In order to get the frequency ingredient reflecting distinction of dynamic balance, the key is to measure the rotator speed accurately and acquisition vibration analog signal of rotor bearing accurately. The main contents of this paper are: (1) shaping the signal output from photoelectric sensor and making level translator, then switch-on the pin of DSP, and measuring rotator speed accurately through the capture function of DSP. (2) implementing 32 frequency doubling of reference signal through PLL circuit, use as the activation pulse of A/D acquisition, so implementing 32 point complete alternation acquisition of rotator's vibration analog signal in different rotator speed. (3) implementing 100 frequency doubling of reference signal through PLL circuit, use as the clock pulse of the switched-capacitor filter MF10ccn, so implementing self-adaptive band-pass optical filter according to the center frequency (rotor frequency). (4) designing and implementing of system main frame and all functional module: including measurement of rotational speed module, single-sided (diprosopia) time domain waveform display module, single-sided (diprosopia) frequency-domain waveform display module, single-sided dynamic balance testing module, diprosopia dynamic balance testing module, data communication between DSP and PC module. (5) dynamic balance experiment and analysis. Multiple experiments have proved that the system features in convenient operation, fast operational speed, high balance accuracy, good engineering application.
