Displacement ventilation is a completely new ventilation way, through which aims such as gaining higher air quality, economizing energy and getting better ventilation efficiency are realized. The reasonableness of good efficiency, improved hot comfortability and economy energy all open up a promised prospect for applying the ventilation. But currently in our country, there are none mature design method of displacement ventilation which is applicable to our country . Aiming at the office building, this text introduced several primary design methods in the domestic and international. Then take our country( north China region) as an example, respectively carry out design computation and numerical simulation in these methods, proceeded to compare the analysis to these designmethods, and studied a few factors which have impact on the displacement ventilation. The text reach the conclusion as follows:1) For the four kinds of design methods, the fourth methods can most satisfy indoor heat comfortable requests; the third is more tedious than the others according to the calculation result.2) To the first method, the difference in work zone has a direct impact on the calculation result. The smaller for the difference in work zone, the larger for the supply air volume, and the higher for the supply air temperature.3) To the second method, further research need be done for the calculation about supply air temperature.4) To the third method, equipment load coefficient will affect the accuracy of the computation result, which must be paid attention to especially when indoor equipment load is great.5) To the fourth method, its methods can most satisfy indoor heat comfortable requests, however, the designcomputation data that simulation result show is partial to safety.6) Airflow velocity in direction in level can be keep in long distance for lateral supply air, so we should avoid keeping blowing human body for displacement ventilation.7) Indoor heat source will affect distribution of indoor air current for displacement ventilation, then affect the distribution of the gradient of temperature. And the strength is more strong, this kind of influence more big.8) Supply air of displacement ventilation should enlarge to the best, and cut down airflow velocity in direction in upright.9) Heat loss of building envelope don't affect the layering characteristics of the displacement ventilation.
