With the developing of hydraulic technology, efficient and energy-saving pump control system has gotten great availability. Pump control system is becoming the emphasis of hydraulic system development. As the power and control component, the dynamic characteristic of variable displacement pump is an important reference of pump control system's quality. So, it's necessary to build valid mathematics dynamic model of variable displacement pump to design pump system and optimize pump. The utility of simulation technology greatly shorten the research and exploitation progress of new products. Computer dynamic simulation is very valuable when hydraulic system is designed, analyzed, and modified. In this thesis, the simulation model ofstraight-axle variable displacement plunger pump is set up in SIMULINK of MATLAB, referring to the SYDFE1-2X electronic proportional pressure and fluid flux self-regulating variable displacement plunger pump of German Bosch Company. In addition, the effect of pump's important structure parameters on pump's dynamic responding is also studied in this thesis, which provide theoretical source for system optimization.Because in pump-control system, the distance between pump and actuating mechanism is usually long, so the pipeline, especially hosepipe, has influence on system. As people demanding better system dynamic characteristic, this influence can not be ignored and should be quantitatively analyzed. The domestic and foreign studies on pipeline are mostly focused on steel pipe and few of them are related to hose pipe, which has more great influence on system. So, hose pipe mathematical model is studied in this thesis by means of lumped parameter and distribution parameter, considering pipeline's viscoelasticity. And the lumped parameter model and distribution parameter model suitable for hosepipe are set up. On the base of the lumpedparameter model, simulation experiment is made, studying the characteristic of a position control servo hydraulic system with hose pipe. Simulation consequence is satisfying. Applying the both methods, we can predict the dynamic characteristic of system more exactly. So, people can design more accurate hydraulic system.
