Computer simulation of power electronics system plays a very important role during its product design and analysis. MATLAB, Pspice and SABER are the three most popular international simulation tools at present. SABER has become first choice for its powerful function and open software environment. Compared with other two kinds of software, SABER have great advantage with high simulation speed, fine astringency and accuracy.In order to reduce total harmonic distortion factor of the inverter's output voltage, adding LC filter to inverter's output is a simple and practical method adopted extensively currently. Being a low pass filter, LC filter can suppress the high harmonics effectively, but, it is hard to eliminate the low harmonics. Especially, on the corner frequency of the filter, harmonics are magnified. Different LC filter parameter matching exerts a distinct influence to the harmonic voltage. Improper parameter selection may make filter unsatisfy the analysis request. In order to select the appropriate filter parameters, researchers need repeat the experiment and compare the result before with consumption on time and strength. Computer simulation offers a kind of new method of power electronics research,through the use of modeling and computer simulation strengthen our comprehension to the electric circuit and system principle, shorten design period and economize developing cost. Additionally, by virtue of modeling and computer simulation, we can also compare the filter results in different conditions, obtain the right result and offer reference for the product design research.The thesis combines DC600V passenger train air condition inverter which was developed by China Academy of Railway Science. We adopted SABER to analyze the characteristic of factor that affects voltage harmonic. Furthermore, the thesis uantitatively analyze the voltage harmonics among different signal carrier frequency, dead time and load. In the end of the thesis, by carrying on system simulation, compare experiment result with simulation result. We can get the relationship between LC filter parameter and output voltage harmonics.
