This paper researched combustion characteristics of an automobile gasoline engines operation under acceleration conditions from two aspects. one is measurement of the in-cylinder pressure in experiment, studied the gasoline engines under the acceleration circumstance work. Another is a predictive model which was established for combustion process under transient conditions theoretically. All calculation results were compared with the experimental data and the conclusions in some references concerned as well, the results shown that the numerical solution is reasonable. And the NO X was forecasted on this basis. Among them the establishing of model is a textual main research work. The research items are follows: 1. The significance of researches and some results on CCV were generalized. At the same time, the contents and ways of this study were proposed. 2. The tests of the pressure indicator diagrams under acceleration conditions were introduced. And the experimental result was analyzed. 3. The predictive model of gasoline engines operation under accelerated conditions were established. This model can compute the pressure and temperature in cylinder, etc. Then the factor was discussed that influenced accelerating capability of the gasoline engine. 4. The main work of chapter 4 was to calculate the firebox model, it is to offer the volume and area of the quantity of heat in order to calculate the model. 5. The simulation models of the NO X simulates the NO X under accelerating circumvents, and it's influence of factor proceeds was discussed 6. The conclusions and some prospects of further studies are presented.
