This thesis derives from the sub-subject "Research and Development of Oil Load andUnload Operation System" of "Development of Oil Marine Shape Optimization and RenewedTechnology"subject which is supported by the tenth five-year national project fordeveloping great technical equipment and technology.Its research content bases on APMVLCC which is designed for Danish A.P.NOLLERMAERSK Co. by DNS Co.This thesis focuses on pollution & protection and ballast monitoring system of APM VLCC. As to pollution & protection system, it designs the structure of oil nephelometer whose purpose is detecting oil concentration in water and builds a circuit according to the transmission and dispersion characteristic of oil-water to light; Using principle of piezoelectric bimorphs, it designs emulsification actuator device and its dynamic mechanical model, completes data acquisition system with DAQ card and computer. This thesis develops the pollution & protection monitoring software on LabVIEW including Centre Control Station module, Digital Control Box module, Data Base Management module, Vent Rate and Gross Configuration module and Digital Signal Output module etc. Based on these, the system can monitor the signal of sensors in real time, control the state of valve, finish storing and managing data and fault alarm information, connect Centre Control Station to Digital Control Box in LAN.As to ballast monitoring system, firstly, based on satisfying ocean pact, it deeply analyses the pricinple of ballast system, then, brings up two satisfactory projects according to practical circs. Using LabVIEW, it designs ballast monitoring system software including ballast control module, ballast parameter calculate module and ballast tank pipeline valve monitor module This software not only can automatically monitor ballast system, but also can calculate status parameter of marine in real time according to different condition and project.Meanwhile, this thesis carries on circuit experiment of oil nephelometer sensor and experiment of monitoring system.it analyses frequency characteristic of emulsification actuator. The results of experiment indicates that monitoring system work correctly, the precision the precision is relatively high, meet the anticipated goal.
