Since the Fukushima nuclear power incident occurred in 2011,the safety of nuclear power plants has attracted widespread attention.In 2017,China passed the "Nuclear Safety Law" and clarified the importance of nuclear safety in the form of legal provisions for the first time.Protection and monitor system(PMS)is the core of nuclear plant I&C system,also play an important role for the safe shutdown of nuclear power plants.The use of more advanced and more reliable third-generation nuclear power technologies is the current development direction of nuclear power in China.However,due to the political sensitivity of nuclear power technology,the localization rate of the PMS equipment is still low.This article is through a brief comparison protection and monitor system among AP1000 technical,EPR1000 technical and AES-91 technical.Based on principle of advanced technology and high safety,the AP1000 PMS system is chosen to analysis.Firstly,the PMS system structure is deeply studied.According to the understanding of the PMS system,it is divided into several sub-systems.Secondly,this paper carried out a detailed study to realize the function of hardware equipment components and hardware interfaces.As PMS equipment is nuclear safety related,many countries have different qualification test.This article takes the Reactor cooling pump speed amplifier as an example,based on the U.S.A and IEC standards to achieve EMC test,seismic test,thermal aging qualification tests.Provide a reference for localization of the PMS equipmet.The most import feature of nuclear power plant is reliability.According to the hardware structure,a reliability block diagram is used to model the PMS system.The automatic reactor trip and engineer safety function availability value are calculated in Matlab program,which make an evidence of PMS's reliability.Propose a 5-sequence redundancy scheme to increase system reliability with two-out-of-five voting logic,and provide theoretical support for the future design of PMS with a life span of more than 100 yearsFinally,based on the software,the PMS time response function,system bypass function,over temperature and over power shunt down function are verified.The test logic analysis and theoretical verification are used to prove the test results can meet the design requirements.This article provides reference for the design,procurement and testing of PMS system in the following project.
