Bridge is symbol of nation' s culture and significant signal of national communication and economic development. In Southwest China, there are many rivers and mountains, a variety of bridges have been built over there, in particular, the arch bridges play important role in the development of national economy. Along with continual innovation of construction techniques of arch bridge, a variety of large span arch bridge provided more options for bridge design. Prestressed concrete compound arch of truss-type is a new sort of bridge with speciality of attractive appearance , less masonry, low building cost and strong crossing capability, etc, in recent years. In particular, with the secondary and third segment' s joints, the structure being one completed system beam and arch, and hence crossing capability. of bridge could be improved Truss lifting tool adopts for derrick mast hoist that had been made by our unit, readymade member will be lifted and positioned. It is of the feature of simple construction equipment and quick construction progress and a potential of popularization.This article was based on the first priestesses concrete truss compound arch bridge that was built, by our unit, in Chongqing. The bridge lies on the border of Zhong county and Shi zhu Tu jia zu autonomous county, is one of communication for migrant around Sanxia reservoir region, and is the part of an artery highway from Chongqing to the middle of China. The main span of the bridge is a type of 180m truss arch bridge,with full-length 251m, and the side span is a rigid frame with spans of 18m,14m and 13m, whose construction lasted two years. This article discussed details about construction methods of bridge structure including the foundation, pies particularly emphasizing the construction method, moving, installation, design of lifting and manufacture, forward shifting and dismantling. At the same time bridge body alteration, monitoring during construction and static, dynamic testing after finished are also debated it will The expanses and techniques discussed here, may provide some helpful references for the identical type bridge.
