Research For Urbanization Transformation Of Old Port Area Of DaLian

Since near decades, the new trend of urbanization transformation of the old port area has already taken shape worldwide. Selecting location to build new port becomes wise choice of getting deep-water berth, following moving the old port in order to create conditions for urbanization transformation at the same time. Under the drive of the interests, the real estate developer favors the old port area left unused, because there is region advantage close to the city center. "Housing group of port area " begins to appear , a large number of newly-built buildings are packed with this valuable area like the mushrooms after rain, trade and business district and office district appear shortly afterwards, this area becomes the new choice of city building construction that expand sharply. Focus on the individual case, urbanization transformation of old port of Dalian, the author uses such research means as interview, materials collecting, data statistics, etc. utilizes the condition of once worked in the port of Dalian and participated in this project. Passing the survey of project feasibility, economic analysis, comparison and choice of the development mode, the analysis of the program, the author has done the preliminary discussion to the development mode of old port which is suitable for the national conditions of our country, found some suitable laws. This will draw lessons from the urbanization transformation of old port in the future in our country.
