Study On The Economic Interaction Between Dalian Port And Dalian City Under The Background Of Port Intergenerational Upgrading

As the hub of land and water transportation,port is an important resource endowment of port city.With the upgrading of port functions,the interactive relationship between port and city economy also presents phased characteristics.Dalian port is the most important comprehensive foreign trade port in northeast China.A new round of northeast economic revitalization strategy puts forward higher requirements for Dalian port-city interaction.Therefore,it is particularly necessary to grasp the interactive relationship between Dalian port and Dalian city economy under the background of port upgrading,and put forward suggestions and countermeasures for the further interactive development of Dalian port and city.Based on the intergenerational upgrading of ports,this thesis explores the interactive relationship between Dalian port and Dalian economy.Firstly,the thesis summarizes the development status of Dalian port and Dalian economy from 1985 to 2017,and analyzes the interactive evolution process between Dalian port and Dalian city.Then the index system of Dalian port development level and city economy level is constructed,and the index of port development level and city economy level are calculated by principal component analysis method.Taking tihese two indexes as variables,VAR model and coordinated development model are constructed to quantitatively analyze the changing trend of economic interaction between Dalian port and Dalian city.According to the VAR model,the interaction between the two indexes is obvious in the short term,but gradually weakens in the long term;The variance contribution rate of the two indexes to each other increases rapidly in the short term and tends to zero in the long term.The results of the coordinated development model show that the coordinated development of Dalian port and Dalian city has gone through the stage of unbalaneed development and transitional development and has entered the stage of coordinated development.Qualitative and quantitative analysis shows that Dalian port has undergone the evolution and upgrading from the first generation to the third generation since its opening in 1899,and is now in the transformation stage to the fourth generation port.With the intergenerational evolution of port functions,Dalian's economic development tends to be diversified,the self-growth effect of the city has been revealed and gradually played a role,and the relationship between the port and the city has entered a mature stage.Finally,based on the interactive development status of Dalian port and Dalian city economy,this thesis puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the interactive and coordinated development of Dalian port and Dalian city.
